If I want to play it on my Series X, I can. You see, I bought the game originally on my Xbox One. So if I just pay for the additional content that wasn't included in the Magnus Edition, I should have everything, right? So the Slayer Edition is the Magnus Edition plus the additional DLC. Then they released another class, but even if you had the Magnus edition, you had to pay for it. Just some loot that made your numbers go a bit higher to combat the same ol' baddies whose number had gone higher. Some grind that didn't really have a goal of getting something that at all changed the game. The new content with the Season Pass was okay and added a few hours. The game was more worth the price of the DLC. The game itself wasn't worth the price of the game. It really wasn't worth almost half the cost of the game again. They dropped their DLC that was part of the season pass. until I ran into a bug on the Second Act boss fight which made progress impossible until they patched it. If this had launched as a $30-40 game with a $10-15 DLC Season Pass, that would have been fine.īut I bought the Magnus Edition. But it launched in a half-assed state with the promise of DLC that, when it arrived, completely underdelivered for the price. Now the problem is, like all ARPG, how you're going to design the endgame? That comes to mind, that exactly as D3 is forcing you to play a specific build, because your gear and items and skills, are basically designed around it. The drops feel more or less as "forced playstyle" The loot is, compared to the other mentioned above, not so exciting. This game has its goods, but also its very very bads. I played all the characters and I wanted to give this game a chance, since I am a big ARPG fan.Ĭomparing it to D3, imo, is simply false.
